Louise Doughty began broadcasting in 1994 when she was asked to do a paperback round-up for Radio 4's Bookshelf. Since then, she has been a regular critic for arts programmes such as Kaleidoscope and Saturday Review and a guest on quiz shows such as Quote Unquote, The Write Stuff and Whispers.
